Productive Day!!
I now have 2 meetings set up:
Ceremony musician: June 9
DJ: June 12
I left work at 12:15 today to start my crazy afternoon.
First stop: Courthouse to drop off papers for the house. CHECK!
Next up, post office and bank for work. CHECK!
Then, Mom and I packed up the dress and all my things and headed up to David's Bridal for my fitting! It went really well! I'm getting a very nice 3 point bustle done. I pick it up on June 26th!
Break time now for lunch at the Olive Garden!
Then we went to the other side of Indy to buy a mattress for Jon and I. CHECK!
At 5:45 we finally made it home!
I feel so much better prepared now. Which is great because this week I won't be getting a lot done. We start moving into the house on Saturday!
Sidenote: S&K in Indianapolis allowed another store to take over their wedding tuxedo orders for the summer. So everything is still good to go there. Whew!!

Wonderful
Guess where we were supposed to be getting our tuxes at.
There is a place not too far away from here that is a Jim's Formalwear dealer. I put a call into them, but they are closed for the holiday. Hopefully they call me tomorrow.
I'm so glad I found out now.
Sad thing is, one of my July '09 Knotties made a post about. I didn't find out from the store, itself. They are supposed to call me in the next few days to tell me when I can pick up our file with the guys' measurements. And then the guys can start calling in and getting their refunds back.
Everything happens for a reason..that's all I can say. :)
Countdown: 2 months!!!! WOOO!!!

Shower Thank Yous and Moving
Thursday I'm leaving work half day to go get my bustle done. Yayy!! I'll be so glad when that part is done!!
And HOPEFULLY on Sunday, we'll get the keys to our house and start moving in. If not Sunday, we have to have them on Monday, June 1st. I'm so excited! I started packing my room up today. It's strange. Every other time when I packed my room, it was just for school...so I left my furniture. Not this time.
Mom and I went to Lowe's today and bought a blind for the guest bedroom, switch covers, and 2 globes for the hallway light fixtures. I also bought us a new bedding set! It's all becoming so real! I just can't wait to finally move in!!!

Blessed
My awesome cake!
The insane amount of gifts! I couldn't believe it...I still can't believe it!
These are two of my best girls from school, Chels and Kristina. I love them more than anything! :)This is me and my BM Cort who came to see me from North Carolina
This is my best friend and MOH, Ash!
This is me and my Jesska a/k/a my roomie. I love her so much!
This amazing woman is my momma :) This picture just makes me laugh so hard! We played a game where I had to answer questions about Jon. If I answered them wrong I had to put a piece of gum in my mouth. Hah. Well, look at the pic. I had so many pieces I asked my little cousin Jenna if she would start chewing pieces too. She has 3 in her mouth. lol

So not motivated...
I was talking to Jon last night and he's the same way. We've realized we're doing exactly what I said in the previous paragraph--wishing time away. We're both so excited to have our house--and we're ready to get the house and move in. We're ready to have Reg-meister (my new nickname for him) at our own house. We're ready for him to actually be OUR dog all the time. And above all, we're ready to be married. July 25 is sloooooowly creeping up here and dammit, I'm ready for it to just be here.
I don't think it helps that my shower is next weekend! And I'm sooo excited for it!
On my computer background, I have a post-it widget. Each week I write everything I need to do for the wedding this week. Needless to say, the 20 coasters have been on there for two weeks. Hah. I suck.
I NEED TO GET MOTIVATED.

Jon's Gifts
-Pale Yellow
-3 Bedrooms
-Huge kitchen, huge bathroom, huge living room
-Nice back yard
-Nice location
-Game room--the owner is leaving us the pool table
Now, back when Jon and I started to become serious and talking about the future. We always said our perfect home had 3 bedrooms and a game room for Jon and I to display all of our sports memorbilia. And eventually, we would LOVE to get a pool table for the game room.
Needless to say, this is our dream house! :)
I racked my brain forever to try to think of something to get Jon for his wedding presents. I thought of b-pics, but I decided against it.
He's a sports FANATIC, so I'm trying to incorporate all of his favorite sports into a big compilation of gifts! Here's what I found so far:

A painted pilsner glass. Jon loves beer and basketball--perfect!
For our awesome pool table:

A Colts cue ball! This is a present for BOTH of us!
I also put in an order from an Ebay seller for a customized sign that has a picture of a couple pool balls and it will say, "JON'S GAME ROOM".
Now I just need to find something Reds and Jeff Gordon and I'll be set!
